| | Wynns Coonawarra Estate is the region's pre-eminent wine producer and largest single vineyard holder with the best and longest established vineyard sites in Coonawarra. Its wines are regarded as benchmarks for the district, lauded for their consistent quality and depth of flavour.
Principal among the brand’s extraordinary range of red wines is the Wynns Coonawarra Estate John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the definitive Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine of enormous concentration and power. Since it was first made in 1982 it has won a host of medals and in 2000 respected wine writer Huon Hooke named it as one of Australia’s top red wines of all time.
In 1990 following an outstanding vintage, the Wynns Coonawarra Estate Michael Shiraz was introduced. Named after the revered Michael Hermitage it is a powerful wine of abundant fruit and oak that is only made in exceptional vintages.
